Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser. FloorClarity analytics records that a tool started or completed and may record the non-personal result category, such as “tile” or “high risk.” It does not record every answer.
Analytics consent
First-party analytics records events only after you consent. It uses a temporary browser-session identifier, page path, selected market, country code, and the limited event details described here. We do not store your IP address, name, email address, or calculator answers in analytics. Raw events are retained for 180 days and reporting access is restricted. Consent is stored in local browser storage; clear the site's data to reset your choice.
Affiliate clicks
Outbound click events may include product identifier, merchant, placement, and selected US or Canada market. The destination merchant applies its own privacy policy after you leave FloorClarity.
Local preferences and contact
The US/Canada market preference is stored locally. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
Your choices
You can decline analytics, use the tools without an account, avoid merchant links, clear local storage, or contact us about personal information you directly provided.
